20 May 2026 PORT VILA, VANUATU – On 19 May 2026, the Presentation of Credentials was held at the State House in Port Vila, the official office and residence of the President of Vanuatu. Overlooking the central business district and the harbor, the hillside complex includes the traditional Farea meeting house where the event occurred. Accompanying the undersigned were Philippine Honorary Consul General Florentino Serrano and First Secretary Rainier Casis.

The ceremony commenced at the State House parade grounds, where the Commander of the Vanuatu Mobile Force (VMF) Guard of Honor formally reported to the undersigned. Following the VMF band's rendition of the Philippine National Anthem, the undersigned and the VMF Commander conducted an inspection of the honor guards.

Subsequent to the formal ceremony, the President and the undersigned held a private bilateral meeting. The dialogue centered on shared interests, including sustainable development, climate change initiatives, and the well-being of the Filipino community residing in Vanuatu. The proceedings concluded with the undersigned signing the official State House guestbook. - END
