02 May 2026, CANBERRA – The Philippine Embassy in Canberra, led by Ambassador Antonio Albero Morales, attended the Toad Hall’s Annual Multicultural Festival at the Australian National University in support of the Filipino student community in Canberra and its broader engagement in multicultural initiatives.

Organized around the theme “One Hall, Many Cultures,” the festival brought together students, alumni, staff, and members in a celebration of cultural diversity through music, dance, national dress, and live performances representing various cultural backgrounds.

The ANU Filipino Association performed contemporary dance and musical presentations. Philippine Ambassador to Australia, H.E. Antonio Morales acknowledged the active participation and contributions of the Filipino student community in showcasing Filipino talent and creativity.

As of February 2026, more than 20,000 Filipino international students are enrolled in Australia, ranking the Philippines among the top ten source countries of international students.
