TRANSFER OF PHILIPPINE DIPLOMATIC AND CONSULAR JURISDICTION OVER NAURU, TUVALU, AND VANUATU FROM THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN CANBERRA TO THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN SUVA, FIJI

01 July 2026, CANBERRA - The Philippine Embassy in Canberra informs the Filipino communities in the Republic of Nauru, Tuvalu, and the Republic of Vanuatu that responsibility for Philippine diplomatic relations and consular services in their respective countries has been transferred to the Philippine Embassy in Suva, Fiji, effective 17 June 2026.

Please be advised that Consular Functions such as Assistance to Distressed Filipinos, Passport Services, Consular Notarization, Civil Registration (Reports of Birth, Marriage, and Death), Visa Services, Dual Citizenship under Republic Act 9225 and related matters are to be filed and submitted with the Philippine Embassy in Suva Fiji.
