21 November 2023, MANILA - Philippine Australia Business Council (PABC) Chairman Atty. Dennis Quintero, together with PABC members Ted Villanueva and Mark Voltaire Jimenez, met with visiting Australian Parliamentarians Hon Steve Georganas MP, Chair of the Joint Standing Committee on Trade and Investment Growth and Member for Adelaide, and Hon Michelle Landry, Deputy Chair of House Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Resources and Member for Capricornia in Manila on 21 November 2023. They discussed collaboration in key sectors such as agriculture, resources and business process outsourcing to enhance trade and investment cooperation. The meeting aimed to strengthen the economic ties between the Philippines and Australia, building on the foundations laid during the PABC's visit to Adelaide, South Australia on 10 October 2023 at the margins of the Philippines-Australia Ministerial Meeting.

The Australian Parliamentarians are attending the 31st Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum hosted by the Philippines on 23-26 November 2023. The forum provides a platform for constructive discussions and fostering stronger parliamentary ties. -END-
