PH Joins Australia in Commemorating Remembrance Day

On 10 November 2021, Philippine Defense and Armed Forces Attaché Col. Romeo N. Bautista III laid a wreath at the Stone of Remembrance, Australian War Memorial, in commemoration of Remembrance Day in Australia to honor the service and sacrifices of those who have died since World War I.

The Philippines and Australia historically have a robust defence and security partnership founded on shared values of democracy, respect for human rights and adherence to the rule of law. The two countries fought shoulder to shoulder in World War II and to this day are strong security partners. END
