27 February 2026, CANBERRA – H.E. Antonio A. Morales, Philippine Ambassador to Australia, convened the Team Philippines Australia Consultative Meeting in Canberra, bringing together representatives from Philippine Foreign Service Posts across Australia under the “One Country Team” approach.

The high-level meeting served as a platform to strengthen coordination and align priorities among Philippine diplomatic missions and attached agencies in support of the 80th Anniversary of Philippines-Australia diplomatic relations and the Philippines’ ASEAN Chairship in 2026.

Senior officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila contributed to the discussions and provided policy direction and strategic guidance. Undersecretary for Administration Maria Theresa Dizon-De Vega, Consular Affairs Assistant Secretary Anne Jalando-on Louis, and Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Asian and Pacific Affairs Rona Beth Goce shared insights on key foreign policy priorities, including enhancing consular services, advancing economic diplomacy, and strengthening regional cooperation. - END
