Canberra – Ms. Cara Denise Tizon, an Overseas Voter currently registered in Nairobi, Kenya, successfully voted at the Philippine Embassy in Canberra after getting COMELEC approval of her Manifestation of Intent to Vote (MIV) in Australia. Photo above shows Ms. Tizon (L) submitting her accomplished ballot to Consul Corina A. Reyes, Chair of the Embassy’s Special Ballot Reception and Custody Group (SBRCG). Ms. Tizon is an international student at the RMIT University in Melbourne, and intentionally traveled to Canberra to exercise her right of suffrage.
