Investment opportunity in PH retail treasury bonds

23 February 2022, CANBERRA – The Bureau of the Treasury of the Philippines is inviting overseas Filipinos in Australia to invest in the 27th tranche of the Retail Treasury Bonds (RTB 27). RTB 27 is a five year, low-risk, fixed-income investment which will provide interest on a quarterly basis. It is higher-yielding compared to time deposits at 4.875 percent annual interest.

Investing in RTB is convenient for overseas Filipinos as online ordering facility is available through https://www.treasury.gov.ph, and online platforms Bonds.PH and OFBank. A minimum subscription of PHP5,000.00 may be placed to as high as PHP500,000.00.

Proceeds from the issuance will be directed to the country’s emergency, recovery and resiliency funds to support the country as it recovers from the pandemic.
