28 September 2023, CANBERRA - H.E. Ma. Hellen De La Vega, Ambassador of the Philippines, hosted morning tea at the Official Residence on 26 September 2023 in her capacity as the new Dean of the Women Heads of Missions in Australia (WoHOMA). Ambassador De La Vega succeeded H.E. Betty Pavelich, Ambassador of Croatia and current Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, as WoHOMA Dean. Lady Ambassadors, High Commissioners and Deputies from New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, Norway, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Estonia, Botswana, Mauritius and North Macedonia participated in the meeting. They discussed and exchanged views on the role of women in diplomacy and in promoting peace and security. -END-
