23 February 2022 - Ms. Margaret Grummitt, the Philippine Honorary Consul General to Brisbane, Queensland, will end her term on 28 February 2022. The Philippine Embassy in Canberra expresses its profound appreciation to Ms. Grummitt for her valuable service to the Filipino community and for her contributions in furthering Philippines-Australia relations.

Starting 01 March 2022, The Philippine Consulate General in Brisbane will be temporarily closed until a new Honorary Consul is appointed by the Philippine Government.
