- We are transitioning to an online appointment system for all mobile passport missions.
- Payment is not required to secure an appointment.
04 September 2020 – The Embassy informs the public that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mobile Passport Missions to Darwin, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth for 2020 are temporarily suspended until travel restrictions imposed by States and Territories are lifted. The health and safety of the passport applicants and everyone involved in the mission is the primary consideration of the Embassy. We appreciate the public’s understanding.
Filipinos with passport validity of less than six months still have the option to apply for passport renewal at the Philippine Embassy in Canberra or at the Philippine Consulate General in Sydney if AU/state travel regulations allow. For those who cannot travel due to the COVID restrictions and have passports expiring in less than one month, they are advised to contact the Embassy (firstname.lastname@example.org) or the nearest Philippine Consulate at least 2 weeks before the passports expire to inquire on the process of extending passport validity. If the passport is expired, applicants may wish to consider setting an appointment for passport renewal with the Philippine Embassy in Canberra or the Philippine Consulate General in Sydney when conditions allow and relevant restrictions have eased.
The Embassy continues to monitor the prevalence of the COVID-19 pandemic and updates in government regulations as we initiate plans for the mobile missions. The public is advised to constantly monitor the Embassy website on developments as regards the conduct of mobile passport missions.
