The Philippine Food Festival, dubbed Flavours of the Philippines, will take center stage at the newly-refurbished Grace Brasserie of Sydney’s Grace Hotel from 5 – 21 August 2011.
Food enthusiasts will be able to indulge in a sumptuous buffet of well-loved Filipino dishes skillfully prepared by guest chefs from the acclaimed Via Mare Restaurant of the Philippines.
This is the 5th year that the Department of Tourism’s (DOT) Office in Sydney has organized the Food Festival, in cooperation with the Grace Hotel. As with last year, Philippine Airlines has also partnered with DOT by providing the airfare for the Festival’s chefs.
Festivals in previous years ran for approximately 10-12 days but this year’s gustatory experience has been extended to 17 days.
Charges for the Philippine Food Festival are as follows:
- A$ 38/person for lunch buffet, Tuesday to Friday;
- A$ 48/person for lunch buffet, Sunday; and
- A$ 47/person for dinner buffet, Thursday to Saturday.
Lucky patrons will also have the chance to win a trip for 2 to the Philippines courtesy of Philippine Airlines.
Grace Hotel is located at the corner of York and King Streets. Reservations for the Festival can be made by calling 02-9272 6670 or visiting the website www.gracehotel.com.au. END
