MOBILE CONSULAR MISSION TO PERTH, 16 - 24 March 2022 (Updated)

6:00PM 02 March 2022 - The Philippine Embassy in Canberra will open 300 additional slots on 22-24 March 2022 for passport applications for the Mobile Consular Mission in Perth, Western Australia. These slots are only for those with expired passports or whose passports are expiring in 2022.

The slots will be made available at 3:00PM (Perth time) of 9 March 2022 by CLICKING THIS LINK and will use the DFA’s Global Online Appointment System (GOAS). Please read and follow all instructions in accomplishing the booking form so that your appointment will not be invalidated. Based on past experience, all the slots are expected to be completely filled up within 1-2 hours after they are made available.

Payment is not required to secure an appointment and documents are no longer required to be mailed to the Embassy.

The Embassy is unable to accommodate walk-in applicants during the dates of the mobile consular mission as all appointments slots are expected to be fully-booked online and also in consideration of COVID19 safety guidelines.

The slots will be in addition to the applicants who were able to secure confirmed appointments for last year’s postponed Mobile Consular Mission to Perth. Those with confirmed appointments for last year’s postponed Mobile Consular Mission have been rescheduled to 16-21 March 2022 and will be receiving instructions by email on details of their rescheduled appointments.

The Embassy also wishes to remind the public of the following:

  1. If your passport is not yet expired, you may also contact the Philippine Consulate in Perth to apply for a one-year passport extension one (1) month before the expiry date of your passport; This service can be done by mail and does not entail personal appearance at the Embassy/Consulate.

  2. For those with expired passports, year-round passport renewal services continue to be available at the Philippine Embassy in Canberra and the Philippine Consulates General in Sydney and Melbourne, except during lockdowns and declared holidays.

  3. Subject to travel restrictions being implemented in WA and ACT, a second Mobile Consular Mission is being targeted in the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2022.
